I am amazed that cameras were allowed at the exhibit. Her work is copyrighted, and not cheap...Even on her website you can only view thumbnails...I would check the copyright if I were you...I wouldn't want to see you get into trouble....My fears aside I agree that her work is wonderful, as painting water scenes is very difficult to do..Below is a link to her site... I did notice that there were several exhibits throughout the show that prominently displayed "No photography allowed signs." The painting represented in my photo was on the outside wall of the exhibit, and her husband was sitting nearby. I did not see a "No photography" sign, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. I did not look at the whole exhibit. I had seen him on the news with that painting, and when I saw it, I photographed it. I'm not going to try to do anything with it. It was to be only for my personal album representing the 2012 Artisphere Festival.
I guess this means now that I shouldn't share some of the other photos I took that day either. *sigh* Too bad, as there was some really neat stuff.
Messier 94, unusual spiral galaxy with an oval central region, an inner starburst ring, and a very faint but active (in UV and IR light) outer ring structure, located 16 million light years away in the constellation Canes Venatici. 5 6-minute exposures, stacked, darks and flats used. Total exposure, 30 mintues. Imaged on 5/18/2012 at Taylorsville Lake, Kentucky
