I have a group of photos of a guy who has been harassing me for a few months now through an instant messenger. I talked to him a few times online before he got creepy, and in those few times he sent me a plethora of self photos. I really don't want to get the police involved, but I feel like I'm going to have to soon. I know they won't put in the time or effort to find him like a P.I. would, so I think that's my best bet. Anyway, he said once in one of his conversations that most of his photos were posted on webshots, so I figured maybe I could back track through webshots to him...

Does anyone know how I could locate these photos on the web? Is it possible to find matches for certain photos through a search engine? I have the photos, I just need to find them on this website...

PI or webshots directly. If he's threatening you, police.

Don't screw around with stuff like this....

If your worried about it enough to post something here on the Dallas City forum, then I'd assume what he is doing is serious enough to report to the authorities. x10 if your a young single woman.

Along w/ all of the other advice also check and see if he has a myspace. He may have more information in there that would identify him. If you find that he is could possibly be a threat, call the police. You do not want to pick up the paper someday and see that this guy has been arrested for hurting someone that he met thru the internet.

Mom hit the nail on the head. I'm superstitious, so I didn't want to say this.

Very well said. This probably isn't his first doing something like this and probably won't be his last.

In the last few years, the police have started to take internet harrassment very seriously. If this clown is really creeping you out take the pics to them, they might be able to match it up if this guy's on the books.

You would need a username to search webshots and myspace. That could be kinda hard if you don't have one, especially with webshots. You can do a vague search through without a name, but you have to put something like nature if he sent you pics from the woods.

Myspace would be a little easier if you know where he lives. plug in the zipcode, and any extra info you have on him.

All that would be dependant on him actually giving you correct information. If he said he's a 20-something living in New Mexico, he could actually be a 60-something living in NY.

If you have a name and google it, that should bring up photos and stuff. Personally I'd get rid of all that chat crap on your computer. Disable instant messenger and yahoo messenger and any other messenger stuff. You can do just as good or better hanging out here with the rest of us! Nekid pictures optional!

On Oprah yesterday there was women who were scammed by men online, and they told the public to go to a website and look to see if they recognize their photo. They have over 5,000 members of this website now! It was started by a woman who scammed bigtime by a guy she met online. I will PM you the website.
