Thanks, Peyton and Elgin. I agree, the HDR treatment really brought out the colors and textures in the canyon. I'd forgotten my CP on this trip, and probably over-compensated a bit by going with the HDR, but I'm happy with the look and the pics have gotten favorable reviews on my other photography forums. So I guess they're ok. But, honestly it's hard to take a bad picture in a place like this.

The last sentence says it all. With all the texture and color in Zion you could realistically spends years photographing there.
