A big Amen and a Hallelujah to that buddy!

I don't think its nice to make fun of poor people.
Like another person said here, some "Rednecks" maybe poor, but they are humble people and they don't mind if you make fun of them. They also don't care for worldly wealth.

Not the same as the others. But a redneck/hillbilly favorite, just the same.

I'm sure you've heard enough jokes about rednecks using duct tape to fix just about anything, well, I wouldn't consider myself a "redneck", but I used a redneck solution to temporarily fix the running board on my Nissan SUV. For those of you who live in Arizona and know where Crown King is, you know that dirt road that's 26 miles long, and when it goes without getting graded for a while, it gets really rough. I was coming down from Crown King last Sunday and I started hearing a clunk noise. So I stopped to take a look and the rear mounting bracket on the driver's side running board broke, so the entire running board was hanging on just the front mounting bracket. I was still about 20 miles away from a major town so I needed something to hold the rear portion of the running board in place so that it doesn't put strain on the front mounting bracket and break off completely. Luckily, I was less than a mile away from a little ghost town called Cleator, it's a redneck town of about 50 people, which is about half way between Crown King and Interstate 17. It has only one general store, which was closed on Sunday, and a little bar. I stopped in at the bar and asked the bar tender if he had a coat hanger or something I can use to rig up the rear portion of the running board to keep it from falling off completely, and low and behold, in the redneck tradition, he gave me a roll of duct tape! Sure enough it worked and it got me home and the running board stayed in place.

Quotes from Jeff "You Might Be A Redneck if" Foxworthy

Comparing rednecks to sophisticated people:
Sophisticated people have retirement plans, rednecks, we play the lottery! That's our plan.. and we hit the big 6 we're gonna add a room on the trailer so we won't have to sleep with Jim's daddy no more!

Sophisticated people go to fancy restaurants, rednecks.. we drive around to the second window! .... and listen could you super size them fries for the little woman.. it's our anniversary!
