played around with photomatix feeding them in 2x for processing using different settings. like painting on LSD..... ha ha

I had many acid trips back in the day..... to me this is a flashback that is all bad..... all bad. Its harsh on the eyes for me, but then again my eye sight is bad too !

I'm no expert, but this is a bit irritating to the eyes. HDR can be harsh in the first place. The over processing completely flattened the photo. Unlike pointalism in painting, this does not give you any depth of field.

Looks more like a painting than a photograph...not my cup of tea, but I'm sure some would like it.

heres some the same ones as above but not run thru 2x . some are 9 exposure and very natural looking. it all depends on what you want to convey.toughest part is snow turns gray at the slightest push and even pp cant get it back. you really have to leave the light inversion part of hdr out. the natural looking one with white snow took 9 exposures and very little compression.
