nik color efex filters
nik software offers some nice filter plugins .. the filters are actually pre-done color profiles which if anyone is familiar with capture nx software is basically made with preset dodging and burning profiles using color points.
anyway i like the filter set alot and am using the free trial but i will buy it..
these are utilizing the tonal contrast filter , warm brilliance filter... the white vignetting is the vignet filter and the tanglewood sign was actually a green summer picture done with the procontrast filter and the indian summer filter.
the landscape is the tonal contrast and polarizing filters

It's impossible to tell what these filters do by just looking at processed pictures (exception being the vignetting tool which is obvious.) Mathjak, could you show some before and after versions of the same shot processed exactly the same way, with the only exception being the filter? That way we can tell what the filter actually contributed. Thanks.

Thanks, Mathjak. The effect looks very similar to turning up the vibrance control in the raw converter.

2 or 3 of the filters out of the 52 can look like the vibrancy control however the filters can be applyed globally or locally to only localized spots in the photos if you like.
they use the color point system like nikon capture nx or vevizia .. you simply drop a point and the effect stays local to that area... no masks or layers to fiddle with.
i only played with a few of the 52 so far....
