I noticed on the link people were complaining about backwards compatibility. What compatibility? Lenses?
The only accessories listed were RC6 remote, and battery/battery-grip. Lens compatibility is definitely NOT an issue. I only saw one comment about compatibility made by someone who is obviously just looking for something to complain about.
Yes beautiful... "BUT" here we go again on mega pixels... where does it end.. at Terra Pixel Count.
When I got my sx10 it was 10mp then the sx20 came along and it was 12mp..
Not complaining just curious how much pixels..for the average person..

Honestly, you don't need much. I had a 3mp Canon and I took some great shots with it. I printed those out on an 8x10 and they were sharp and clear. Granted it was a point and shoot which meant that the aperture was small and I needed sunlight to bring out my subjects (which it did) but still. Now I have the s3 IS and it still does very well (I think its 8mp but can't remember). If you know how to shoot, the number of megapixels becomes moot.
What sells me is the zoom and what apertures the lens can function at.
Unfortunately they've got the public hooked on megapixels so people think that the more megapixels you have, the better shot you'll get. The only time it comes into effect is if you crop out something from your shot and zoom in on it. Now how many people are really going to do that. The majority will just print out a 4x6 and 5x7.
I'm not looking at the T2i for the megapixel count.
The T2i has features which I would use. I really miss the manual focusing and zooming of SLR's/DSLR's. I also like the ability to shoot short family video clips without switching cameras.
