You've heard the saying, "If you can remember the '60s, you weren't there," welp, t'weren't quite that way at all during the 1960s in the Baltimore suburb Dundalk, Maryland nor Patten, Maine. I have a photo web site about just how hip and happening woodsy Northern Maine was or wasn't back then, in comparison to city/suburban life in Dundalk; and the East Coast is compared to California. T'were a fantastic time to live.

Shortly after I graduated from Dundalk High School, in '68, I moved way up north to live and love amongst the deep, wonder filled and life nourishing forestland communities of Northern Maine, where I became a hard working bear hunting guide and ever-so-happy country womens' delight. I lived lots of wild and woolly adventures the whole time through. Photos and stories of those fantastic times are on this web site:

Northern Maine Adventures Photo Album

Please take a look at the site, I believe that you will most gratefully garner something good from it. It is 1968 era history told from a unique angle of experience.

Bah, Patten, ME is almost a Southern city.

Ooops, did I let my years in Caribou, ME slip out again. LOL It is a really nice area there and living so close to Kathadin gives you ample opportunities to take some really great photos of nature.
