Thanks for your replies.
To clarify, I was thinking of biking mainly through Schenley Park to and from school, and it's possible that I might have to do this after dark. I would be sticking to the roads though, and not off the beaten track on trails or anything. I realize that biking at night anywhere can be dangerous, but I was wondering if crime was a specific threat at night in either park. Thanks again. |

Oh, if you are just biking through on main roads I don't think you'll be in any more danger than on any city street.

The streets from the colleges through Schenley should be fine at night. Most of the park is open grassy area near the roads so you can see everything around you. Just don't cut through any wooded trails and you'll be fine.
