It all depends on where you buy them and how much you are willing to pay.

You could probably buy Jacks or some other generic brand for about $4 a pack, but Marlboro reds are about $6.20 at Sheetz when they are not on sale.

$6.20 x 10 = $62 a carton.

Most people heads north to the Indian nation and they buy those Seneca's for about 2 a pack or they roll their own.

I was smoking Captain Black which are called little cigars but taste fine and comes in flavors at $17.10 a carton at the supermarket. They quit stocking them and now I buy Red Buck for $30 a carton. They are called cigars but taste like a good mild cigarette. The govt. stopped the Indians from selling out of state. I used to order Seneca at around $20 a carton.

The government didn't stop them from selling out of state, they merely asked to be paid the revenue they lost - with a little interest for all the cigarettes that people bought with their credit cards and had shipped over the state line.

I had a cousin in Erie that could have drove once a month to Salamanca and bought cigarettes cheaper then what it cost her when they caught up to her, because by that time she was in trouble for like 400 cartons and she had like $8000 in fines.

She could have smoked Marlboro's for that amount of money.

Wow. Smoking has become one of those "if you have to ask..." items. I suppose that adds to the status for some people.

You can go to Steeltown Tobacco in West View ( Pittsburgh) and get a carton rolled for just under $25.00. You tell them what brand you like to smoke, they then roll you a sample cigarette to try from a custom mix of tobaccos. If you like it, they machine roll you a carton.

I'd like to find an inexpensive place that sells cartons of Marlboros. I'm fairly new to the area but I was told Circle K's sell them for somewhat cheap. Anybody know for sure?
