In addition to some mentioned already, Sushi Tomo on McKnight Road is pretty good as well. I haven't been there in a couple years, but we used to go pretty regularly (when we lived close by and didn't have kids).

In my opinion, Nakama has some seriously good sushi.

I've been to Nakama a few times and it's probably the Olive Garden of sushi in my opinion.

It's called Andy's Sushi and yes this is the best Sushi in Pittsburgh. To top it off Andy is a great guy who will joke around with you and give you a free sample of whatever special roll he is making for the day. All made fresh to order right in front of you and soooo delicious. This is better and more fresh than any of the sushi that you will get in a restaurant. Although Penn Ave Fish Co. does come close sometimes...

Sushi Two on walnut st. A coworker of mine who is married to a japanese woman told me so, and I agree.
The one that I would reccomend you to avoid is the one made at benihana with philly cheese inside instead of fish. How can anyone bastardize sushi like that? Yuk!
