Okay, I rarely post, because I don't live in Pgh. any more. But I was born in Robinson Twp. in 1948. Robinson was rural then. Beaver Grade Road ran past our house and maybe one car went by every fifteen minutes. We had to drive 30 minutes to Crafton to A&P to get our groceries. We went in my grandmother's 52 chevy. Then we moved to Ingram. I went to Montour High School. Then went to Indiana University of PA. After college I lived in Carnegie for a while. Then, lived in South Side (flats) from 1981 - 84. At that time South Side was just beginning to be a cool place to live. I had a second floor apartment on Bedford Square and had a great view of the downtown skyline. I believe that area was designated as an historic district when I was living there. Then my Pittsburgh life ended when I moved to sunny Ft. Lauderdale. So how old does that make me? The oldest so far. But I don't feel very old.
