It's amazing to see how much Ben has been roughed up over the years, yet he is still able to play. Compared to the little amount of time Charlie, Leftwich, and now Dixon can stay healthy....

Ben is a freak of nature.

I think that they ought to fire Ben, give Charlie half of his salary and give the other half back to the fans that paid all that money for their seasons ticket this year.

Charlie was not allowed to throw last week because the team did not want to risk him getting hurt. Who was you going to put in as quarterback once they lost wonder woman.

Charlie Batch is like the Bionic Man, they give him a little time to repair his broken body and now he has turned into Superman.

Even the bookies chose the Steelers to win the game and they said that the total points scored was going to be at least 36.

That's more points in one game then what the Steelers and their opponents has scored in the first two games combined.

Anyone that it too blind to see that Charlie is like Sparky Lyle - a man who steps on the mound in the last inning and strikes out the best players and wins the game for the team isn't really watching the same game as I was.

The more games we win now, the easier it will be to get into the playoffs.

How can you explain - if Rothesburger is soo good, why Pittsburgh didn't go to the Super Bowl last year?

I think you should submit your resume to the Rooney familiy as soon as possible. I'm sure they wouldn't even need an interview to hire you.

Same reason no QBs other than Drew Brees and Peyton Manning went.

Remember, Ben has to complete every pass and never lose a game, just like all of those QBs who are in the Hall of Fame.

Why did Detroit never go to the Super Bowl when Charlie was starting? If he's "sooo good," that is.

Sorry but both those long TD passes to Wallace should have been intercepted. That would put it at four on the day. Charlie Batch is second to none personality wise but as a QB, he's a back up, period. Good job at keeping the season afloat but Ben's return will be very welcome. It's absurd to think CB is even on the same level as BR let alone be better than... I'll have what HB's having..

Cause the defense sucked, giving up at least 4 or 5 4th quarter leads.

I think HB is out picking hallucinogenic 'shrooms in the Jefferson County woods.

Batch is 35 & hes beyond his prime. He had a good first half in tampa bay (11/15, 177 yds, 3 tds, 1 int) but in the 2nd half he only had 11 yds passing & 1 int. When ben returns Dixon will be our #2 guy & batch #3. Im not sure about leftwich now. By him getting injured in the steelers last pre-season game his open window as a temp starter for pitts is over.

Batch has never been a superb qb otherwise he would of been a strater for some other team. He really wasnt that good when he played for the lions back in the late 90s. Lets hope he has a good game @ home vs the ravens. Its a very important game for both teams & its gonna be a good one.
