We did to, till we moved out here and got some authenitic stuff. Went back after a year and went to a Chi-Chi's and was APPALLED....

Nope, every last one of 'em is gone. Someone even has a photo essay of Chi Chi's restaurants that were abandoned wholesale -- still had chairs and tablecloths and everything just sitting there unused. That said, you can still get their salsa at grocery stores.

That's certainly not the explanation. I've spent plenty of time in South Phoenix, the Latino part of town. The Taco Bells there are always packed, even with "authentic Mexican food places next door.
