I picked our home inspector based on recommendations here, and since that worked out very well, I figured I'd ask around and see if anyone recommends a company for heating and air conditioning. The furnace in the house my husband and I are buying is at least 50 years old, so it's definitely getting replaced before we move in!

We used Commonwealth (also our regular contractors) to replace our old furnace with a high-efficiency model. We'd recommend them highly.

Sullivan Super Service. Plumbing and HVAC. Not the cheapest, but reliable and great service. They replaced 2 of our units (one with a Unico High Velocity A/C system). They also dug up and replaced a broken drain pipe (from a downspout) and installed a french drain in our yard.

NOT Tom Gillece; not to be confused with Mark Gillece, who has a good reputation. I believe they are related, but not certain as to how closely.
