Sewickley...typical of most lake effect episodes... only flurries and snow showers... dusting...' still see the grass' Seems a north over a north west wind drives the heavier squalls south to south west into my neck of the woods...

It's technically not winter yet (Dec. 14, 2010), but I see more than the typical light dusting of snow on the ground.

I have a little more than 2 inches here in my neighborhood. Considering I was lucky to have 2 inches on the ground in total after last week; this is more of a success already.

Agreed. Anytime she wants spring to start in April (or even better, March), I'm in.

4 inches since 5:00 am.. 5 miles outside Ford City ( Armstrong County ) reports my brother on his frozen farm land.

I work on the border of Robinson and Crafton and it's been snowing here rather heavy for the last 2 hours. A good 4 inches or so on the ground. Radar shows a nice long band of lake effect snow setting up west of the city so this should be here for awhile.
