Default Company Picnic Ideas

Any good ideas on places to go / things to do for a full day. Doesn't have to be at a park, but something with Food and Alcohol (either sold there or bringing our own), and some activites to do that coworkers could enjoy. Any Ideas?

Maybe doesn't have to be right in Pittsburgh either, a short bus trip 1-2 hours would be possible....

It would help to know what type of activity you are looking to do? Do you want to spend a little or a lot?

I mean I've done everything from bowling night, to fancy dinners, to paintball.

Personally I loved paintball the most. Our department rented out a paintball facility (in Bridgeville IIRC) and we brought our own food and alcohol. Most the girls didn't show up, but I did. There was no way I was missing pelting a few of my less favorable coworkers.

There's quite a wide selection of things you could do.

Paintball is a blast! It's great for team building too. I recommend only doing outdoor paintball though. Indoor is too restrictive and boring IMO.

Idewild Park - is a hit with everyone of all ages.
You can rent a pavilion and have the whole affair catered.

Question- is this just for the employees, or are spouses and children invited also?

Kennywood was always great for our union picnics.
