What are these buildings near Elliott? (Pittsburgh: house, middle school, gated)

While looking at properties in the Elliott / Sheraden region with Google map aerial I see three big octagon shaped buildings connected in a line just off of Chartiers Avenue and it looks like the way in (Greenway Drive) is gated. There's a big baseball field, etc. - what are these buildings? Thanks.

Those buildings are part of the Pittsburgh public school system and house 2 schools--a "gifted students" program (the website says some 1,7000 kids attend) as well as a magnet middle school called The Pittsburgh Classical Academy.
