Have you tried Garfield or Lawrenceville?

There is a nice store in Station Square of photos and drawings. It is in the Freight House Shops. It specializes in Pittsburgh scenes. It is right across from Chauncy's, er, I mean Buckhead Saloon, inside.http://www.nevinrobinson.com/

I'll second the Lawrenceville recommendation - there are some great, smaller galleries there with lots of affordable work. Two favorite local artists are Paul and Valerie of Tugboat Printshop - tugboatprintshop.com.

Also, Art All Night is coming up in Pittsburgh, hosted again at the old Iron City Brewery -- they'll have work from amateur to professional quality and it's well worth a visit.

I would be interested in this as well. On HGTV they often blow up a historical photograph and then frame it. Basically, they do this because it is cheap art. I am interested in this but when I spoke to Kinkos about it they said they wouldn't do it unless I had permission from the photographer. Any thoughts on how can I do this to an old photograph. Also, where to find an old photograph? I have looked at the Carnegie's web site but it is pretty itimidating because of he number of photos.
