On Saturday afternoon there was a local teen dance show on KDKA. I believe it was hosted by Clark Race.

Did Josey Carey(sp) come before or after Fred Rogers? They were both on PBS.

Studio Wrestling was a great program featuring Cardille as well as legendary American Heating spokesman Pie Traynor.

But what really got me interested was that the doctor at ringside was Dr. Louis Civatrese, who operated on me as a kid for hernia repair. Being familiar with hernias is a good thing for a doctor on a wrestling program.

Also, you can still get your shoes repaired by wrestling referee Bucky Palermo on Butler St. right past the 62nd St. Bridge.

I remember this very well and Clark Race was the host. I believe it was around the mid to late 60's.

I remember that show back in the 70's, I was working a night shift at USSteel, so I could watch it in the afternoon. Never forget, she had on Marilyn Chamberlin, a porn star from that era, eh, from what I've been told.

No doubt Marie was forced to interview her cuz you could see that she could not stand the woman. Anyway, Marie commented about Marilyn having a sex advice column and asked what her qualifications were. Ms Chamberlin responded, Oh, I'm just a lay person.
