No doubt Marie was forced to interview her cuz you could see that she could not stand the woman. Anyway, Marie commented about Marilyn having a sex advice column and asked what her qualifications were. Ms Chamberlin responded, Oh, I'm just a lay person.
For the record, the name of the porn actress was Marilyn Chambers, not Chamberlain. Her claim to fame was that she was the young mother on Ivory Snow bottles. She modeled for this image before she got into porn.

Ricki Wertz also hosted Junior High Quiz.
Copper was her dog....an Irish Setter which was copper in color.

Mr Boo Man would always blow out the candles on the tray of cupcakes.

Ricki committed suicide if I remember correctly.

But Copper is not. Maybe Copper committed suicide.

Here is a page dedicated to Ricki Wertz.

The Hank Stohl show is at the very edge of my earliest memories. Remember almost nothing except that mop top character with the protruding nose.

Must of gone off the air shortly thereafter.

The mop top is Knish.

Rodney is the puppet at the very bottom of the pic.

As I said, I wasn't sure about that.

It's one of those rumors you hear.... like Eddie Haskel from Leave It To Beaver died in Vietnam. :-)

Regarding Pie Traynor and his commercials for American Heating, does anyone remember his slogan for Americian Heating?

It was "Who can, American." I remember the commercials on Sunday nights during or after the 11PM news.

One from the 70s was Sweet Ol' Bill Curry who did sports commentary on KDKA.

Obituary: Bill Currie / 'Mouth of the South' sports commentator here in 1970s - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

I actually had a drink with Bill Curry one night when I ran into him at the Brookline Young Men's Club (BYM), which was an after hours club on Brookline Blvd. around the late 70s/early 80s. His TV personality and real life personality were one and the same.
