Then again, there's the back way via Homestead. That actually might make more sense since the OP is going to Chatham.

When construction is done on 28, it might be faster to go through the tunnels and north on 28. We won't know until we see if the new 28 design bypasses the bridge lights, like it appears might be a possibility based on the way the temporary road is bypassing the 40th. It would be awesome if there is a bypass for the 31st street bridge too.
