In general, the North Hills are less built up and you can get a country like feel closer in. The subdivisions tend to be newer, particularly as you get up towards Pine and Cranberry.

The big thing with Philly drivers is most of them tend to go right through the yellow light, not even slowing down. I'm not sure if drivers are the same way in Pittsburgh because I was only there two days. Not giving pedestrians the right of way is another issue here.

We do have alot of people who commute to the city to work from South Jersey and most are terrible drivers. They're too used to all of those circles in NJ I guess.

Going straight through the yellow is most common around here too, yes. I thought that was the norm. I can only assume you have moved from somewhere where it was not the norm.
