Redheads IME avoid the great globe in the sky like the plague

This can be true. But I do know red-heads who have no freckles. And guess what though, because red-heads stay out of the sun, they always age FANTASTIC compared to blondes and brunettes.

I'm blonde haired and blued eyed -- and I avoid the sun like a vampire.... don't tan at all, just burn to a crisp, peel and I'm as white as ever.
Having learned that at a young age has helped immeasurably. I'm 48 in a week, and most people think I'm in my mid 30's. Really makes me laugh when I tell people I intend to retire at 50 and they tell me you have lots of time left and I say -- no I have two years....

When I lived south of Pittsburgh, my favorite spot was a little fishing stream outside of Dunbar where the water comes out of the mountain inside a small cave in a little waterfall, with a perfect pool. So very romantic! Good trout fishing there, too.
Inside the city of Pittsburgh - ooooh tossup between Station Square - I love the atmosphere, the shoppes, Grand Concourse, the history, the bands during the summer - and Mt Washington - for the outlooks at 1 am on a clear night, and the romantic restaurants.
Now, that I live north of Pittsburgh, like Tallysmom, my favorite spot is McConnells Mills. Absolutely amazing boulders, and beautiful rushing stream, as well as a nice tour thru the mill itself.
blessings, Shen

The sun causes at least 90% of the aging process. I'm not a red-head either but I NEVER see the sun. I use fake tanning products (which, by the way, have improved by light years in recent times) and plan on looking youthful and vibrant (no leather) for many years to come.

It's hard to avoid the sun in CO. Even if you just walk home from the bus or something, you get tan. DD uses sunscreen religiously, since she had a melanoma removed that was not caused by the sun.

This is a very good idea. They are FINALLY bringing out face-washes that have SPF built in, how convenient? I recently saw a product in a spa magazine I get. Next it'll be in our body washes and soaps, which is such a great idea. I put on sunblock EVERY day even if I only plan on seeing the sun from the walk to and from my car. In fact, my Uncle's dermatologist who is in Florida tells him to use sun-block even if you work under big fluorescent lights every day (and most of us do).
The sun is SO harmful and damaging. However, a complete lack of sun isn't good either. You should get a FEW rays occasionally for vitamin D or at least start breaking out that spinach!!

Washington's Landing for a walk
I like to walk at Washington's Landing. Zip a few times around the island. Enjoy the trees, cute townhouses, views and maybe stop for a beer at Redfin Blues.

Sorry.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that "Elder" is in the name.

Don't Let the Name Fool You
I'm really only 26, which is a prime age for being aware of good-looking ladies out there.
As for the name, it's something I've always used for a handle, going back to my days as a long-distance truck driver.
"Hey, Big Bear, we've got a smokie up here on exit 28."
"That's a 10-4 there Elder, thanks for keeping your peepers out."
"No problem, good buddy. Elder out."
And so on.
