Default Beignets??

Anyone know of a place in or around Pittsburgh that sells beignets like New Orleans? Would also be nice to find cafe au lait, but beignets are first priority!

I would hope they serve them at NOLA in market square, but I cannot confirm.

We tried them for dessert at NOLA, and we weren't wowed.

Default E2

Try E2 in Highland Park for brunch, they have them on the menu.

They offered them for dessert at Avenue B in Shadyside at lunch on Wednesday, but it's a full-service restaurant. I didn't try them. I had a deconstructed, then reconstructed, version of a blondie (delicious).

You can have the mix shipped to you and make them yourself, its quite easy, or just fry some biscuits in oil and cover them in powdered sugar, its almost the same.
