That is a good list. Might be the best list I have ever seen. Usually lists like that are littered with HUGE restaurants with tons of seating. Giant places cannot control quality food. Good list and I agree with the places I have been to.

Often times these lists are too bothered with high end places to remember a classic joint like Tessaro's. Glad to see they made the list.

This should be titled "The 24 Best Gourmet Restaurants and Tessaro's" list. I'm much more of a fan of peasant food than gourmet joints, and those places get no love from publications.

This reminds me we still have a lot of places to try.

But in any event, among fine dining places, our favorites appear to be on the list, so I guess that means I should endorse it.

That's a pretty solid list. The only ones I don't necessarily agree with are:
Soba (It's okay)

Umi (good, but too $$ for sushi)

Tessarro's (I know it's blasphemous to say this, but while a good burger, they're not the best in town)

I haven't tried Joseph Tambellini so I'll reserve judgement.

I for one won't damn you for saying that. I think the same thing. I always feel like my burger is dry. I always order my burgers medium but at Tessaros they always come out more like well done.

I'll also admit that Tessaro's is not my favorite burger in town, although I do think theirs is good.

That list looks like someone at Big Burrito paid off Pittsburgh Magazine.

Well, they didn't include Mad Mex, so the fix can't be in all the way.

(I'm sure Ms. Chynoweth's journalistic ethics are above reproach)
