Correct, without Spirit, LBE would have had 0 commercial enplanements. Spirit changed those numbers to 31,785. That's a difference of infinity percent!

PIT, in contrast, has had over 4,000,000 enplanements, none of which were on Spirit Airlines (which seems to be the sum total of your definition of "anyone"). If Spirit were to move their local base of operations to PIT, that would increase traffic by a whopping 0.776%!

How often do you fly out of either airport?

Hey there big hero, did you know PIT had over 20 MILLION volume a year in years past? You are excited about 4 million? Keep your rah, rah silliness to yourself. Many of us know the REAL story. PIT is dead and has been for a very long time. 4 million... ha, ha, ha! It if funny when something goes in the toilet and people try and prop it up like.. oh look we now are up to this number... WOW. Too funny! Thanks for the humor though. As far as LBE, they NEVER had big numbers. They are growing from tiny to a little bigger, to who knows? There isn't some comparison other than percentage gains. PIT? Can't get much of a bigger loss than 20 mill to 4. I don't even know if there is an airport in the entire US that is in a worse situation.

Look into CVG's numbers.

That 20 million is total passengers. PIT's total passengers today is like 8 million.

Again, 20 million to 8 million.

Republic Airways is expanding its maintenance operations at Pittsburgh International Airport. The Allegheny County Airport Authority on Friday approved an agreement with Republic to extend leases on two maintenance hangars and add a lease on a third. The five-year deal takes effect Sept. 1. It will pay the authority $633,194 in the first year, with annual increases of 2 percent in following years, the authority said. US Airways, which operated a hub in Pittsburgh through 2004, formerly used all of the hangars, said airport spokeswoman JoAnn Jenny. Republic is a regional carrier that operates local flights on behalf of several larger airlines.

For those who don't know, Republic Airways Holdings owns Republic Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines, and Shuttle America, all of which operate as regional carriers for Delta, United, and US Airways in varying combinations as seen at PIT. They also own Frontier Airlines, which operates under its own name.

I suggest they change their name. Republic, Chautauqua, Shuttle America, and Frontier Airlines are really dull names. The best name for an airline, in my opinion, is JetBlue. Buy them or maybe resurrect Eastern...which I think is another good name.

40% of its peak is much better than your assertion of 20%.
