We went to Paris 66 for brunch a couple of months ago. We enjoyed it - thought prices were fair for what we got, service was professional. Took home a box of excellent macarons.

Haven't had dinner there, but it seems like an appealing classic French bistro menu. It was cold out on our visit, so the patio was enclosed, so we'll need to go back when open air.

I finally tried YinzBurg BBQ today for lunch. I had the small brisket plate with coleslaw and black eyed peas. The brisket was very good; tender and flavorful. They offer 5 different sauces, I chose the Afterburner, a spicy red sauce. The black eyed peas were cooked with greens and tomatoes and were tasty, the coleslaw was average. It is a bit pricey, $12.50 for what I ordered. The portions were decent but not huge and it is mostly takeout, just two high-top tables you could stand at to eat. A bit more concerning is that I was the only customer there at lunch time.

Does EnP have another Winner on their hands here?

Eat'n Park adds bistro concept to restaurant brand

The first Hello Bistro is slated to open by late June or early July, with a second location under construction by year end. No other leases have been signed, but company officials are looking at sites on the South Side and in East Liberty.

Eat'n Park officials envision building lots of Hello Bistros, in some cases sliding the small restaurants back into urban neighborhoods that the company left years ago when the original model didn't seem to fit there anymore. Even Downtown might eventually get its own Hello Bistro.

The Porch at Schenley Plaza

Every day is a parade at Market Square, since throngs have been flocking to downtown’s pulsing heart since it was reborn over a year ago. Plentiful tables and chairs let you brown-bag it al fresco, or grab a meal from nearby restaurants including Winghart’s, where the burgers are sublime or Noodles where they can prepare everything to go.

I sampled a Hello Bistro concept salad during a Taste of Oakland and I think it could work out. I'll reserve any final judgement until after I actually eat at the place after it opens.
