Rochester PA....need rocking chair (for sale, apartments, school)

Hi,
I wrote several months ago about my son and his girlfriend moving to Rochester and needing furniture. Well, my grandson was born on Aug 3 and he is beautiful. They are in desperate need of a rocking chair, preferably upholstered. I believe they will be back in the Rochester area next week some time. (Baby was delivered in VA). Any ideas? My son is all set to start ATC school in September, continue working and somehow stay awake to help with his son. His girlfriend is not working and right now does not look like it will happen in the near future. They would just break even with the cost of child care and she does not want "strangers" taking care of their son. So....next question. What kind of "work at home" jobs are available in this area of Pitt??

Try freecycle.org for the rocking chair.

It's a website that connects people who want to get rid of stuff with those who want it.

You can request specific things too.

craigslist: pittsburgh classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

Look under furniture there are ton available. Use the search option for 'Rocking'.

They also have a jobs section.

Craigslist is fine, but, as the name imples, freecycle means it would be free. You just have to go and pick it up.

I don't know about Rochester, but they have groups in quite a few larger and smaller places.
