Gnutella can back me up on this, but I'm pretty sure tomorrow may have the highest temperature of this century and the highest in 15 years even.
Last time the temperature reached...

A temperature of 96 degrees or higher would be our hottest to date in the 21st Century.

The official high temperature today in Pittsburgh is 91 degrees. This is the seventh day this summer that the temperature has reached 90+, which already matches the normal for an entire summer. Oddly, every one of those days the high temperature has been either 90 or 91. That's likely to change tomorrow, with every major weather station forecasting a high of 96 or 97. If this is accurate, then this would be the hottest it's been in Pittsburgh in 16 years.

its been quite a strange summer weather-wise in this country. The midwest, basically from Minnesota down to Texas, has had temps well above normal for most of the summer (it was 98 degrees in Chicago yesterday). Everything east of that has had temps pretty far above normal as well. The funny thing is, the Pacific NW has had a summer with below average temps. Very strange...

This heat is just awful. I have to sleep in the nude on a bare mattress next to two fans while sweating JUST to get any sleep!
So we get winters where we barely see any sunlight and summers that are extremely humid? I'd kill for us to have actually had a long enough Spring here to have noticed it.
