Yes, we are still burdened with the 19th century PLCB. But, hey, we now have those wonderful, user friendly, readily availible wine kiosks!
Who designed these abominations? Must have taken a good "contribution" to Fast Eddie to get them approved.

Those wine kiosks are a real life combination of Big Brother conspiracy theories mixed with unintended self parody. Their ridiculousness makes them awesome somehow, you just can't help but laugh.

To be fair to the actual designers, the kiosks are an attempt to get around the state laws and regulations that otherwise would make sales of wine in grocery stores illegal. In that sense, it is really the laws and regulations in question that are to blame.

I think it's one of those things that bars charge you $15 bucks for.

Some things I hate about our State & local gov't:

- archaic road systems
- road construction on rt 22 ever since I moved here (over 9 years)
- Public Transportation system that is in shambles (run as a jobs program, not as a public service)
- system that rewards corruption (Rick Santorum and Tony Atwater just to name a couple)

Yes, I know, but it is so Victorian in it's methods and policies.
