Does anyone else work in a place where they wish Flip-Flops were banned.. or where they are but people just still wear them... and you dislike it.

I only dislike flip flops when people wear them over socks or with jeans. Either it's too cold for flip flops, or it's too hot for long pants and socks. DECIDE DARN IT!!!!!!

I wear flip-flops around the house. Period. I can't even wear them doing yardwork. Working in them, in some situations, sounds a little dangerous to me.

Why are people always so concerned about what other people are doing?

I hate flip-flops and think they look sloppy, so I don't wear them. I do wish those who do wear them would universally pick up their feet when they walk. That ffft-fffft sound makes me homicidal. I work at a university, and several times a day I'm tempted to tell a student, "pick up your feet!"

Human nature, insecurity, lack of confidence are the main reasons.

Thread change from hate of flip flops to hate of that sound people make when they walk!

I like sandals but can't wear flip-flops. They feel like they're going to fall off. Also, I can't bear that thing between the toes.
