fwiw, I don't think the guy in the finger shirt is a true Yinzer. Looks like the wrong ethnic group, and he just doesn't carry himself "Yinzer." Looks like a transplant to me.

May as well say the only stylish city is New York and forget about the rest of us.
Manhattan made the list, and I'm not talking about Manhattan, Kansas. I read most of the descriptions. The story about Boulder got a few things wrong: no one uses fanny packs any more!

Not surprised at all. Lots of pretty sad looking outfits around. Seems paints down to your ankles with underwear hanging out is the norm. Wife beaters with mustard stains are pretty popular too.

On the plus side most of the hottie 20-something college dudes in the East End seem to have an aversion to shirts in the warmer months. Now THAT'S "poor fashion" I can live with!

Oh please... I'm so tired of hearing this "Pittsburghers are so down to earth and unpretentious" excuse. You look like slobs. All of you. You can buy your clothes at Target and still look clean, neat and classy if you make the effort. It has nothing to do with being fake or pretentious. It's simply taking some pride in your appearance.

I think I'm getting old.

I was just at Nemacolin and it was amazing how many slobs where wearing jeans. I mean have some class. Pittsburgh is really number one in that dressing well category. There is no doubt.

I hardly dress like a slob, .....Nor do I go around town dress oversize hats, 500$ Pumps, 2500$ cocktail dress

Being unpretentious doesn't mean a person doesn't take pride in their appearance and looks like a bum day in and day out..

Get with program, spend a week on Park Av in Manhattan, or Beverly Hills CA....Nothing but fakes everywhere, I never got the whole scarfs around the neck as "high fashion" on men...

I'm no slob--I wash all my clothes at least once a year.

I love the fact I can go out casual. I am from Wisconsin and I am smart enough to avoid wearing my "Dress Packer" uniform when I am getting all dolled up!
