Default Interested in Pitt...

If I bought a house for about 75-85k in Pitt, where would be the best/safest area for the house to be located at? Also, I would like to be somewhat near (20 min commute) to Pittsburgh International Airport. Thanks for your help!

In that price range, you should look at Crafton, Coraopolis, Imperial--maybe Neville Island if you don't mind the mills. Moon, Findlay Township, North Fayette, are some other areas around the airport that tend to be pricier but will probably have a few things in that price range. The only really "unsafe" areas out towards the airport would be parts of Aliquippa in Beaver County or parts of McKees Rocks toward the city. As a rule of thumb, most of the cities and townships are OK as you head away from the rivers and railroad tracks. The nearer the tracks and the rivers you get, the more run-down the homes are.
