Those Brownsville pics were a labor of love. It took me several hours to get them edited the way I wanted. Unfortunately, I'm using a new camera and it doesn't take the best pictures. I think after some tinkering, though, I got those pictures to look gorgeous.

Yeah, for sure. I've never actually been to Brownsville, but from what I've heard, I was expecting a lot worse.

All the homes look the same in Presston, tiny frame double houses, its an old company town.

The sign on the pat bus that used to, and might still go out there for all I know, always called it "Shoenville"

Thanks so much for sharing, PreservationPioneer! A home in Presston JUST came on the market, and I absolutely love it. I did a search on this forum for "Presston" and was so happy to see your photo tour since the Google Car never made it through here for some reason. If not for yesterday's major financial setback with my car I'd consider looking at it and making an offer.
