That is where it is.

There also is the Community Market in on Hulton Road in Penn Hills which is pretty close to.

With a budget of 150,000 you are almost priced out of the nicer city neighborhoods. Sq. Hill may be doable but you would be pretty far from the business district. Bloomfield is cheaper but the yards are tiny. Maybe Bellvue would be your best bet. It has a pretty big business district.

I have lived in Washington DC, Lawrenceville and Shadyside and now own a home in Brentwood. In my opinion, Brentwood is as walkable as any place I have lived in. We have a nice Giant Eagle and can even walk to Caribou Coffee and a new yoga studio. My favorite restaurant in the area is JTs, which has fresh squeezed lemonade. There is a bus to downtown a few blocks away. You can get a very nice older home with character here for much less than $150k. I find our neighbors to be very friendly.

I would recommend Dormont or West View. Many nice starter homes there at a reasonable price. Coming from the South Hills, you need to go through a tunnel, so I have liked living in the North Hills much better.
