Smile Information regarding the area of Bradfordwoods

Hi there, I had a post a few weeks back about help, well, my home in Parker Colorado sold in 14 days and I had to be out in 10. LOL So, I am now here in Pittsburgh, and wow, it is pretty, I am pleasantly surprised, and the people here are nice. I had a guy get mad at me.. to turn left, I heard about the Pittsburgh left, but this was after the light was green for some time, and several cars had past. I laughed, and thought it was super sweet. So far, loving it, but very tired. My husband put a bid on a home in Bradfordwoods, seems very pretty, neighbors are nice, and it is really nice to hear all the birds, sounds like a safari. I am originally from Chicago, and I have met some natives here, and it brings back home, the sense of humor, and the gut belly laugh. LOVE IT, I miss the wise cracks etc. So that is great, I wanted to know peoples opinions on the area, I have heard really good things about the area. I don't trust real estate people, and so I would prefer to hear it from others. I did stop and speak to several neighbors and they love it. The home needs some cosmetic work, (the exterior paint needs to be done, no protection for the wood) it has cedar siding, and I got some bids on it and fell off my chair, quickly got on the phone and bought my dad a plane ticket to help paint.. it is expensive to paint homes here.. wow. 9 grand.. whoo whee. We close next week, and I just want to make sure we are getting a good deal, and get opinions regarding the area.
