That old children's is an eye sore. A new building is needed and would look much better. I do like how they made some green space where the old yellow brick portion of children's used to be.

I thought they tore the building down already and made it into a grassy area.

There were two distinct buildings. One was yellow brick and the one that still stands is grey and blue 80s style material (I don't exactly know what). They tore down the yellow brick half and thankfully replaced it with grass/trees. The other part still remains.

No, that building was part of Children's, though it may be being used by Presby right now.

In the image above, looking up Atwood from Forbes, the building being demolished is the older, brick part of Children's. The blue and white building to the left in the picture was also part of Children's and is still standing.

Edit: Luckily Google street view is behind the times and shows an even better picture of the two buildings. http://g.co/maps/d3p4e The brick building on the right with the blue panels under the windows is the old building that was torn down. The newer building that the blue car is heading towards still stands and was the main entrance to Children's in recent years.
