Nice. One of the areas I feel most at home. It is a difficult trek between my home and Sewickley. It is almost as if I am holding my breath while in route, but once I am there I can breath easy again and my blood pressure drops to normal as I feel at home. I always enjoy my visits to Sewickley when I venture out of my area.

Ahhhhh, I love this little town. Nice photos. How much do these homes run for? One of the photos was of a yellow house with a big front yard and a For Sale sign out front--any chance you happened to see the price?

ps.... no photos of the Sewickley zombies?

I love the downtown: I hate the Sewickley Bridge. Is there ever NOT a 20 minute wait to cross the river?

Yes. Geez, I've only waited 20 minutes to cross the river at rush hour or something.

That's good news. I must have only ever hit it at bad times.

Is someone considering following me (and it seems like a growing number of DC-area transplants) up here for her retirement someday? Remember, now that Fall is arriving we won't see the sun again until May!

Nah, I just enjoy looking at beautiful homes even if they aren't in the right town for me. I'm one of those people who goes to open houses when I travel to new cities, just for the fun of checking it out. I can even watch 3 episodes of House Hunters back to back. Maybe even 4!
