Which came first? (I assume smiley since Eat n Park seems to be older than Kings) Which do you prefer?

The Smily came out first. The Frownie came out as a joke because of the Smily. I don't care much for the cookies though, but do like the brownies.

Based on the general attitude of the natives here, I would have guessed the frownie came first.

I must say, when I first saw King's advertise their "Frownie" I had to laugh and thought what a witty bon mot it was to counter Eat N Park's Smiley cookies. I also was dubious, thinking it was risky because not many people would be happy when buying a " frownie".

I was wrong! Frownies are a great gooey chocolate brownie guaranteed to elevate your mood. We love eating them at work , especially when we're on a long shift. I buy the packs of Frownies called the "Pity Party" and every one of those brownies are gone by mid shift!

How could anyone not like the irreverence behind the creation of the "frownie". King's has a sense of humor.

King's is gross. Eat'n Park has it in the bag -- smiley cookie, included.

I agree, I think it's funny. But I can't bring myself to go back in there. Was in once some years ago and food was terrible, not even on par with Eat n Park. Never ate there again. I don't eat at Eat n Park now either, but I never found it as hideous.

The Smiley Cookies are, well, okay, or at least seemed so last time I had one, which has been a few years now. I haven't actually eaten a Frownie, but I'm guessing that, too, would not register as a particularly lust-worthy confection.

The Eat n Park's around me are terrible. They take too long for the food to come. I go there for a quick meal and it never happens.

Thanks! Now I have a huge craving for smiley cookies. I guess it's better than craving Sheetz.
