not many regular blues bars in the city, where you can see live blues nightly, or even several days a week. Moondogs is the closest you will get to that, and that is in Blawnox.

I don;t know about blues places but i know that the Citypaper magazine has info about all kinds of music and bands and where they play at. Check it out on wed when it comes out. You know it's a free magazine and you can find it in many places like Panera's bruegger's bagel and alike. or online. Good luck with your date.
