I get annoyed by people driving fast in the parking lots, specifically by the entrance/exits where kids are around. I've even almost been hit a few times in a crosswalk because someone was in a hurry to get out of the parking lot. Had I been a kid in those instances, I may not have been paying attention. Also, I wouldn't have the know-how to act like I suddenly stopped and my bag full of cans wouldn't slam into the side of the car.

As a woman, I have to say that in general we are a bit more rude...for many of the reasons listed here...most women do know to some degree a man is not going to argue with her in public...not to say men are not rude, cause they are...but socially they try harder cause they have been more less conditioned not to be dis respectful to women...overall...

Not only rough looking people "have a friend" with them. Myself and my "friend" look very normal, much like the average person, walking around.

Good point. I am all for the second amendment myself. I don't fault anyone for wanting to protect their family and home...but you just never can tell, but if its obvious they may be off their rocker to a great degree...I ain't saying a thing, I also am not going to look too...don't need the drama, life has enough.

I worked for 6 years at Shop N Save in a white neighborhood. I know all about people being entitled, snooty, pricks. Sad to say that women were the worst offenders of the bunch, they were first to yell at you if you ran out of an item as if you personally were a grocery supplier. Also, I collected carts outside too and I've been hit at low speeds (didn't get hurt or anything) by people not paying attention.

Sadly I think that people have gotten even less civil than they were when I was younger.

Indeed, in PA alone there are around 630,000 legal CCW holders and of course that isn't counting those who are carrying illegally.

Besides, if someone is carrying they shouldn't really act any different to the outside world than they would if they weren't as far as civility is concerned.

Yup...people seem to lack manners, but most of a conscience too, people seem to have no problem these dayswith being aggressively cruel...I think really the best way to deal with such people is with silence. There is power in that, cause when you keep responding or defending yourself to such people, they get something from it, don't give them that, that is your power, when you give it away, you allow them to abuse you...it took me a lifetime to learn this, but now, being a 40 something I have learns not to feed the trolls

Tend to be more polite...

Also don't forget that on foot outside Philly you don't need a license to open carry, and there are many that for one reason or another, many for political reasons, choose to carry in that manner.

I open carry but I have my LTCF for the times when I need to meet one of the exceptions.
