Was thinking about going into Pittsburgh this Saturday. What should I see and do? I've only been to the city for sports so I'm not familiar with the area. Also, any recommendations on a relaxed bar or two if I decided to stay at night?

Do the Strip District early (Penn Ave. between 16th and 21st.), and do the South Side later (East Carson St.).

There are also a number of museums. You can do the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Art and Oakland. The Nationality classrooms in the Cathedral of Learning is a nice followup across the street. South Side for dinner/bar. It all depends what interests you.

Me I would head to the Strip in the morning and do some shopping, hit a museum in the afternoon or the Science Center. Toward evening head out to Club Cafe to see if the next big artist is playing and top off the night at one of the clubs at the Rivers Casino and do a lil dancing and do a couple spins on the one arm bandit. Then you will be able to call it a night or morning, depends when you get back to your hotel room, sleep then grab some brunch. There is a weekend that will be fun.
