Default Carnegie-Mellon a Top Ten "Hipster" college.

This may sound surprising. I know several people who have graduated from there. One thing many did not like about it was that many students would rather sit in front of their computers on a lovely Saturday rather than catch frisbee or have a picnic in Schenley Park or whatever. These are mainly the stereotypical nerdy types. Many of these comprise of Asians whose interests may be strictly limited to the computer. Of course, CMU is also a college known for drama and it's art program. This is where it get's it's hipster tag. As for the students who stay planted in front of the computer on a gorgeous Saturday, I know you have a tremendous workload. However, it is ok to take a walk down Forbes Avenue once in a while. The 10 Most Hipster Campuses

Sure, hipsters are pretentious and annoying, but isn't that the whole point of adolescence?

Kids these days, with their hair and their clothes.

Incidentally, as far as I can tell, CMU got on this list because it had good fine arts programs and some interesting liberal arts programs. Personally, I'm not really sure that has anything to do with hipsters. But maybe it also got some bonus cred for being in Pittsburgh (a Pabst Blue Ribbon sort of place to locate a university).

Adolescence shouldn't last into one's thirties.

If you can keep up that look all winter, you deserve a medal (where to pin it is a different issue).

I'd probably pin it on my Segway.
