Wilkinsburg = high taxes, high crime. *Maybe* in 20 years the sections with big Victorians will be fashionable, but the trouble with Pittsburgh is we're awash in gentrifiable properties -- Wilkinsburg is just too dodgy to gamble on as similar properties are available on the cheap in much less dangerous areas.
As for those condos -- I see one listed for $150,000 -- you can get a place in a much better area for that. |
