Default Looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom home to rent.

Looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom home to rent that is in the price range of 600 to 650 a month. Preferably in the city area or within. Help would be greatly appreciated.

As an aside, that's a pretty tight budget for a whole house rental in a decent neighborhood in the core area.

Anyway, I know a real estate agent who handles a lot of whole house rentals. If you would like her contact information, send me a direct message.

I think the only options in that price range are going to be pretty sketchy areas. That is a low price range. You can find that in Millvale and Sharpsburg though, but those aren't in the city.

Try Zillow - Real Estate, Homes for Sale, Recent Sales, Apartment Rentals

It seems most real state agents don't do much rental in the Pittsburgh area.

You can also try Craigslist, but be careful; found quite a few scams.

Rentals are tough in Pittsburgh right now, especially in that price range. It would be easier to find a house with a mortgage for that price than a rental.

Rental houses will be more like $1200 to $2000 per month, with the $1200 being in an outlying area. I looked last year, to no avail, and never found anything decent to rent. HUD says a 3BR is worth something like $750 or $800 per month, so even shacks will be in that range or higher.

The houses that I looked at that were rentals were rentals because there was something undesirable about them that made owners not want to occupy them. No parking, located on a steep hill, blighted neighborhoods, etc.

Oh, and would not take pets, either.
