It's all a conspiracy against Fox Chapel...

For all I've read, I'm assuming this applies to the School District ONLY? Is it correct to say that the city itself has to use the new numbers?

The maps are a nice tool to see what is expected to happen.

As I understand it, it is the Pittsburgh school district which raised the issue and will get a decision on Thursday. But other jurisdictions may try to follow that road map if it works.

Good point. I guess a lot of it will depend on the amount of time between when jurisdictions get the assessment info and when they set their tax rates, which for Pittsburgh schools is a very short time frame.

Indeed, and for that reason it might just be limited to the PPS, assuming it gets its delay at all. I certainly don't think Wettick wants to let more jurisdictions delay than strictly necessary.

Finally some reason in all the teeth gnashing. I wish TV news would take the time to do an accurate story on this. People's are simply not going to see their taxes go from $2,000 to $10,000.

Professor Briem has it right, no wonder none of the talking heads have him on their shows.
