That is one of the main reasons we are moving there. There are enough Ren Fests and Comic book shops to keep even the most discerning geek happy
Pittsburgh has several comicon/toy fest/collectible trade shows/conventions. None are terribly huge, but they are actually really nice.

OH OH and how about THIS!! In Pittsburgh, you will only be roughly 3.5 hours from Toronto and I try to go up for Toronto's Comicon every year, it's the third largest one in North America and is really something to behold. I met and got Carrie Fisher's signature last year. Both William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy were there, too, among many others. I also met and got Juliet Landau's signature who played Drusilla in Buffy! WooT!!

You sound like my kind of people. Ping me when you get into town - maybe all of us punk rock-listening, comic book-reading, quiet urban neighborhood-loving dorks can meet up for beers and a show this winter...

I have to say beeswax, I actually rolled on the floor laughing my ass off at that. I thank you as I wipe the tears from my eyes. Keep an eye out for shows around the begining of Oct. We'll drag boylocke along and show him how to rock and roll!

Better bring a camcorder, I'm sure we'll be able to win money from the video. :P
