I agree.

They can just salvage the glass from one of the homes they foreclosed on.

PNC was pretty conservative in the lending game during the unregulated years. They bought out part of National City, who were very lenient and had a lot of foreclosures in the past. PNC also doesn't fund or service their own mortgages. It is all run through Wells Fargo in the midwest.

So what happened with this? Did they catch the kids responsible?

It wouldn't surprise me. And, stuff like this works. I have to admit that if I was looking for a house up there I probably wouldn't consider East Liberty right now, with two incidents in less than a year (unless the city finds some way to make a show that they won't tolerate it).

The incident involving the Target doesn't seem to have slowed it down--it is still packed all the time.

calladium - they did catch some of them. the thing is that these kids don't live in east liberty. it is a central business district to the east end, so it is convenient for most to shop, dine, do business there while it was convenient for the anarchists to have their midnight protest there. they did the same thing on walnut st 5 or so years ago and smashed the apple store windows. they likely live in lawrenceville, bloomfield or oakland, so i doubt they'd be your neighbors if you moved to east lib.

If that's the case then some posters on here were likely wrong about their racial assumptions.

Shame there is so much organized crime like all these wildings in East Liberty. Hope it doesn't continue, but it seems that is all I read about on here.
