i don't know jeannette well enough to know what specific parts are like but in general i don't think you'd have anything to worry about going there.

I agree. Especially for a wedding photoshoot.

jeannette is an old, run down town. a lot of bi g old, beautiful(once) houses.. and a lot of small, old, boring houses.

its a pretty safe place, but its about 20% black, which is about 19.9 percent higher than the surrounding school districts of franklin/norwin/pt so people who have never been out of their subdivisions think its dangerous but it's not very dangerous at all.

the exact area where your trip ends on your map is my butcher, i drive past a couple to go to him. you might not know hes even there if you aren't aware of him but great prices and very good sausages and roast beef!

as far as the school district, its small and poor and has been fighting merger for awhile(mostly because the town in its entirity is so devoted to its high school sports, they don't want to give them up).
they will be part of Penn Trafford, and maybe some to Hempfield before long..so probably not the worst place to buy some property..(realize you aren't looking to move there, just pointing it out randomly)

I don't know Jeannette, but they've been on the news lately for a series of arsons of abandoned houses. I wouldn't buy there at risk you may not have a house to move into

Jeantte is a poor, rural area.

But hey, if it's work, for me it wouldn't matter.

Usually people on this forum ask about a region when they want to move there, hence the confusion.
